For hundreds of years money has spelled out the formula for power. All over the world, it didn’t matter where; whoever had the money was in charge and it was as simple as that. Now as we enter the crisp year of 2011, one can plainly observe that it is once more the ever-present pressure of money that controls everything. From something as big as the house you live in, to something as small as the stride you carry when you walk; they are all signals and advertisement of your wealth. Here, nestled within the quaint little town of Elizabethtown, New Jersey, are two schools: North Cladwell High School, and the prestigious University of Elizabethtown. It is here in these two schools where students and staff of all different age, sexuality, and wealth groups mix in together.
It’s a dangerous recipe that spells out for chaos, rumors and pure disaster; but then again, what else did you expect? Come and join in on the lovely gossip, painful breakups and humiliating public experiences; whether you’re in the high school, college, or even just a local townsperson, you can be assured you won’t be missing anything here for as long as you stay. But who knows, maybe within these walls you may find other things besides anarchy and disruption? Maybe some fun nights? Some new friends? Or even true love?
In a town where money dictates the bane of your existence, rumors and gossip can easily shatter your picture-perfect reality to pieces, and the soulless residents of the town can tear you down to nothing; what do you have to lose?
