The city of Paropolis was just a normal city...
At least, until the meteor hit.
In the year 2014, the people of the city of Paropolis were casually going about their dailies live, when a meteor struck on the outskirts of town! That's when everything changed. The radiation from the meteor began to mutate the DNA of the people of Paropolis. Soon, everyone began developing powers; abilities no normal human possess. The power went to their heads...
Now, some of the less desirables began to rise up. Michael Jefferson, attorney-at-law, has risen up and taken control of the city! Backed by the support of his son Erik and his ever-growing gang of thugs, he has renamed the town and built a giant monolith, which he has dubbed the Paranorm Institute. A hulking building that towers over the city, it is where the most powerful Paranormians go to train...or be controlled. All of Paranorm quakes as the reign of Michael Jefferson begins!
But even in the darkest of places, hope shines. Living in secret are those that would defy the self-proclaimed tyrant and his army of miscreants.
The choice is yours. Will you fall to the corruption of power? Or rise up against the tyrany of evil? Choose wisely, for you have now entered...
